Before the top ITV Racing<\/a> this weekend in the UK, that includes Cheltenham Trials Day<\/a>, there is top flat action in Dubai.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, see below our quick-fire Meydan horse racing tips and 1-2-3 best bets for Friday’s lucrative card in the UAE.<\/p>\n

Which includes the two Group One contests – Al Maktoum Challenge (4:25pm) and the Jebel Hatta (5:00pm) – a race Godolphin have won a remarkable NINE times.<\/p>\n

On the card we’ve also got the UAE 2000 Guineas (5:35pm), as jockey William Buick looks for his fourth win in the contest.<\/p>\n

Was last seen running second in the G2 Al Maktoum Mile but is eased in class slightly today – which can be the difference.<\/p>\n

The consistent Mendelssohn Bay, with Richard Mullen riding, can be there rounding up late and can get involved too. While Fort Payne\u2019s course form gives him each-way claims.<\/p>\n

\ud83e\udd47<\/b> Mysterious Night \u2013<\/strong> Strong turf performer; his pace makes him a likely leader and he could control the race from the front.
\n\ud83e\udd48 Chicago Critic \u2013<\/strong> Well-bred and talented; should run on strongly and take finishing room late.
\n\ud83e\udd49<\/b> Witness Stand \u2013<\/strong> Hollie Doyle\u2019s booking is eye-catching; if he settles well, he can land the frame.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udcddCOMMENT:<\/em> <\/strong>A competitive seven-furlong turf event where a mix of speed and adaptability to pace is key.<\/p>\n

Mysterious Night\u2019s rhythm suggests he\u2019ll enjoy the front rank, and this could be the start of several winners for Godolphin and William Buick.<\/p>\n

He was also runner-up in this race last year, but heads here in winning form after a neck success last month. Charlie Appleby also has a top record in this race – winning the prize seven times since 2016.<\/p>\n

\n\ud83e\udd48<\/b> Drew\u2019s Gold \u2013<\/strong> Has shown very fast early sectionals; a short, sharp race like this will suit.
\n\ud83e\udd49<\/b> Dark Saffron \u2013<\/strong> Proven at this level and, with a good draw, should be competitive throughout.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udcddCOMMENT:<\/em> <\/strong>Quick acceleration and gate speed are vital over this dash.<\/p>\n

El Nasseeb has shown he handles this trip well – winning over 6f in his last three starts. With the latest an easy 3-length success at the start of this month.<\/p>\n

Drew\u2019s Gold has the speed to make early impact and hails from the Seemar yard that have a good record in this race. Winning two of the last three and the yard also run Morning and Mufasa.<\/p>\n

While Dark Saffron\u2019s class should see him involved late.<\/p>\n

\ud83e\udd47<\/b> Walk Of Stars \u2013<\/strong> Key selection with recent solid runs; can turn around slightly disappointing efforts with this grade drop.
\n\ud83e\udd48<\/b> Imperial Emperor \u2013<\/strong> Strong recent form and dangerous if able to settle handy.
\n\ud83e\udd49<\/b> Heart Of Honor \u2013<\/strong> Consistent at Group level; should be in the shake-up.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udcddCOMMENT:<\/strong> <\/em>This Group 1 Dirt contest demands a horse with both speed and toughness over the extra 9-plus furlongs.<\/p>\n

Walk Of Stars looks well booked to challenge at the business end in a race he also took 12 months ago (watch below).<\/p>\n

This would have been the target again and warmed up for this title defence with a solid third here last month.<\/p>\n

Of the rest, Imperial Emperor and Heart Of Honor, who beat the selection last time, are both strong rivals at this level.<\/p>\n
