West Ham are closing in on a move for goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky from fierce rivals Tottenham, according to reports.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Boss Nuno Espirito Santo wants a new keeper to provide competition for current No1 Alphonse Areola.<\/p>\n

The Hammers spent \u00a320million on former Leicester stopper Mads Hermansen<\/a> in the summer, but his signing has proved a disaster.<\/p>\n

He’s featured just once under Nuno, and now the club are prepared to cut their losses if they can find a club to take him off their hands.<\/p>\n

Aston Villa could be an option<\/a> as they begin to prepare for life without Emiliano Martinez.<\/p>\n

West Ham Eye New Number One<\/h2>\n

Nuno is looking to the future as 22-year-old Kinsky edges closer to swapping North London for their Premier League rivals.<\/p>\n

Kinsky has only featured twice for Spurs in the EFL Cup this season and is the second choice behind Guglielmo Vicario.<\/p>\n

He moved to Tottenham from Czech Republic side Slavia Prague one year ago on a six-and-a-half year deal for an estimated \u00a312.5million.<\/p>\n

Kinsky then made six appearances under Ange Postecoglou in the Premier League but was on the losing side in five of them.<\/p>\n

His move is likely to be on loan until the end of the season, but with a view to a permanent deal in the region of \u00a311m.<\/p>\n

Kinsky’s arrival will also end the chase for Toulouse goalkeeper Guillaume Restes, who West Ham had identified as a potential target during this window.<\/p>\n

Before moving to England, he was highly regarded as one of the best young goalkeeping talents in the Czech Republic, winning the country’s Talent of the Year award in 2024.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

West Ham Want Defensive Reinforcements<\/h2>\n

Nuno is hoping to bolster his defence with the club locked in talks with Chelsea to sign outcast Axel Disasi.<\/a><\/p>\n

West Ham have the worst defensive record in the league, conceding 45 goals this season, which is two more than rock-bottom Wolves.<\/p>\n

Disasi was part of Enzo Maresca’s bomb squad at the Blues and was training away from the first team for the majority of the campaign.<\/p>\n

That has changed under new manager Liam Rosenior, who has reintegrated him into the squad, but he’s unlikely to earn minutes.<\/p>\n

A French international, Chelsea spent \u00a338.5million to sign Disasi in 2023 and is now hoping to resurrect his career.<\/p>\n

Signing a central defender remains one of Nuno’s top priorities, but the structure of the deal could prove tricky.<\/p>\n
