Alexander Hernandez has denied being involved in any wrongdoing ahead of his scheduled fight with Michael Johnson at UFC 324<\/a>, which was cancelled at the last minute due to betting irregularities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 33-year-old veteran has spoken up a week after the event to declare: \u201cI understand the FBI is doing their job.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI understand the UFC is doing their job.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am trying to get back to doing my job as quickly as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

There has been no official statement confirming that the FBI are looking into that specific bout.<\/p>\n

Dana White, UFC president and CEO, did say in his post-UFC 324 review that \u201cthe FBI is already deep into this stuff anyway.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sure this one will be next.\u201d<\/p>\n

Statement From Alexander Hernandez<\/h2>\n

Hernandez took to his Instagram account @thegreat155<\/a> to state his innocence in any wrongdoing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would never dishonor myself or this sport by not giving my absolute all in competition.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been thru a great deal in my career to be in the auspicious position I am in.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do not take that lightly. I do not take my work or the work of others lightly.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is extraordinarily disheartening after a complete camp and weigh cut to have a fight forfeited.<\/p>\n

\u201cCertainly from matters outside of my control.<\/p>\n

\u201cI understand the FBI is doing their job, I understand the UFC is doing their job, I am trying to get back to doing my job as quickly as possible.”<\/p>\n

He expressed his hope that any investigation “is resolved with expedience.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am in the prime of my career. I do not want my time stolen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Suspicious Betting Ahead Of Hernandez vs Johnson<\/h2>\n

White confirmed that the Hernandez vs Johnson clash was cancelled as a precautionary measure.<\/p>\n

The UFC acted after gaming integrity service, Integrity Compliance 360 (IC360), had flagged some suspicious betting activity.<\/p>\n

It bore similarities to a previous warning issued around an Isaac Dulgarian bout at UFC Vegas 110 in November.<\/p>\n

That featherweight clash with Yaddier del Valle is under investigation by the FBI after Dulgarian\u2019s shock first-round loss.<\/p>\n

White acted swiftly to avoid a repeat this time around.<\/p>\n

Once a potential problem was raised, Hernandez vs Johnson was pulled from the evening’s schedule.<\/p>\n

White’s immediate reaction was: \u201cI\u2019m not doing that s*** again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Investigation Into Isaac Dulgarian<\/h2>\n

Isaac Dulgarian entered UFC Vegas 110 in November 2025 as a clear betting favourite.<\/p>\n

His featherweight bout against Yadier del Valle should have presented little trouble.<\/p>\n

Sportsbooks had Del Valle positioned as a sizeable underdog in the days leading up to the fight.<\/p>\n

On the day of the event, betting markets began to shift rapidly.<\/p>\n

Regulators and sportsbooks noticed a sudden spike in money backing Del Valle, triggering concerns over the nature and timing of the wagers.<\/p>\n

IC360 flagged the movement and raised the issue directly with the UFC.<\/p>\n

White spoke with Dulgarian\u2019s camp.<\/p>\n

After receiving assurances that there was nothing untoward happening, he let the bout go ahead.<\/p>\n

Dulgarian suffered a shock, quick first-round defeat, submitting via rear-naked choke.<\/p>\n

Dulgarian and his coach Marc Montoya deny any suggestion of foul play.<\/p>\n

White Hails Zuffa Boxing 2<\/h2>\n

White missed the weekend\u2019s UFC 325 as he was overseeing Zuffa Boxing\u2019s second event.<\/p>\n

It proved to be a knockout success, the standout being \u2018Hot Rod\u2019 Radivoje Kalajdzic taking down favourite Oleksandr Gvozdyk.<\/p>\n

Kalajdzic hit the canvas twice in the first and fourth rounds.<\/p>\n

With grit and determination he recovered to drop Gvozdyk in the seventh for the win.<\/p>\n
