The 2003 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/uk\/news\/jannik-sinner-us-open-champion\/\">US Open<\/a> champion is actually no stranger to acting.<\/p>\n<h2>Andy Roddick News Confirms Comedy Movie Role<\/h2>\n<p>In 2011, Roddick starred alongside his wife Brooklyn Decker in comedy hit &#8216;<em>Just Go With It<\/em>.&#8217; The film also featured Hollywood A-listers\u00a0Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston.<\/p>\n<p>Nine years previous, he played himself in an episode of &#8216;<em>Sabrina the Teenage Witch.<\/em>&#8216; Roddick has also hosted an episode of &#8216;<em>Saturday Night Live<\/em>.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, Roddick is sure to be ace in his new role alongside Stiller. His big screen debut is set to be a huge hit amongst fans. Who knows, it may lead to more roles in the future.<\/p>\n<p>The fact that Pickleball is going to Hollywood speaks volumes of how popular the sport has become. Furthermore, Ben Stiller is not stranger to sports films. In 2004, he starred in &#8216;<em>Dodgeball&#8217;<\/em> alongside Vince Vaughn.<\/p>\n<p>However, utilising a former World No 1 tennis star to enhance Pickleball&#8217;s reach across the globe could work wonders. Stiller essentially did the same with Dodgeball.<\/p>\n<p>According to\u00a0<em>Variety<\/em>, &#8216;<em>The Dink&#8217;<\/em>\u00a0will see Jake Johnson (\u201c<em>New Girl<\/em>\u201d) play a \u201c<em>washed-up tennis pro who is trying to save a club in crisis and win his father\u2019s respect. But in the process, he\u2019s forced to break a solemn vow and do the one thing he swore he\u2019d never do: play pickleball.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Stiller is set to produce the film via his company Red Hour Films.
