What Is Carson Wentz’s Net Worth?

Carson Wentz is already four years into his career and is rising the ranks of NFL quarterbacks. The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback entered the NFL in 2016 as the second overall pick and has seen remarkable highs and lows already.

With a lucrative contract and, potentially, years ahead of him, the league might not have seen Wentz’s best. However, outside of football, Wentz is already building up a resume off the field that could be equally lucrative for the 27-year-old quarterback.

Carson Wentz’s career

Coming out of North Dakota State, Wentz wasn’t a product of a historic program like many of his peers. Despite this, he made a name for himself thanks to his golden arm and ability to show up when the team needed him most. When the Eagles got the second pick in the 2016 Draft, getting a quarterback of Wentz’s stature was a no-brainer.

Wentz’s impact on the Eagles took a little bit of patience, but it was ultimately worth it. He led the team to a respectable, albeit underwhelming 7-9 record during his first season with the club.

He had a decent arm, but with only 16 touchdowns to his 14 interceptions, Wentz had a long way to go before reaching the level of stardom the Eagles desired of him. Wentz took this to heart, however, and his second year was something special.

Wentz doubled his touchdowns to 33 and cut his interceptions in half as a second-year player. Through 13 weeks, Wentz led one of the best teams in the NFL to a presumed playoff run.

Unfortunately, Wentz went down with an ACL injury weeks before the season ended, and the rest of his season came from the sidelines. The team went on to win the Super Bowl despite Wentz’s injury, but they may not have gotten there without his arm for most of the season.

Wentz has struggled to recreate that success in recent seasons. His numbers have remained impressive, but the team struggled to win. After a 9-7 season, Wentz is looking to show that he can stay healthy enough to lead another team to Super Bowl glory.

He became somewhat of a household name, as well. In 29019, the Eagles rewarded him with a new contract that could pay as much as $144 million over four years, according to Spotrac.

Carson Wentz has become a natural pitchman thanks to his down-home charm and natural charisma. Wentz has made himself some nice pocket change from typical endorsement deals like Nike to bigger ones with Amazon, Bose, and Sanford Health. Per NBC Sports, he reportedly made around $4 million in 2019 alone from endorsements. Wentz might be looking to use his persona differently, however.

An outdoorsy type, Wentz spends his offseasons making content for Outdoor Channel. In the show, which began as a YouTube channel, Wentz and his older brother, Zach, explore the American wilderness. Hundreds of thousands of fans flocked to see the quarterback in a different element at its height on YouTube. It might show a desire to become bigger than football, too.

Wentz knows how to use his money for good, too. His A01 Foundation helps underprivileged communities through sports and resources, and he proudly touts it every chance that he can get.

Through endorsements and a lucrative 2019, Wentz has built himself a comfortable worth. As of 2020, Wentz is worth $45 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. He knows how to spend it, too. Wentz owns a mansion in an unknown location in Medford, New Jersey. Parts of his show are filmed on the property, which is also home to several trophies from his hunting trip.

A new father with his wife, Melissa, Wentz might not yet be a superstar. Still, he is on his way to becoming the type of multi-hyphenate NFL star who lasts in the spotlight long after his career is over.
