10 College Football Teams Attracting the Most Fans

Major college football is a billion dollar business. Anyone doubting that statement can look at the attendance figures for Football Bowl Subdivision teams across the country and have their doubts erased. CBS Sports compiled the attendance data for all 128 FBS teams in 2014 and found that the average attendance for a FBS game in 2014 was 43,483. While this was the lowest average since the 2000 season, when you think about games are played in a college football season, the total number of people to attend a college football game in 2014 is well into 10-figures. Here is a look at the top 10 schools in terms of average attendance per home game in 2014.
