Eric Ramsay, assistant coach to Erik ten Hag at Manchester United, is leaving England to become coach of Minnesota United in MLS.

Eric Ramsay, assistant coach at Manchester United, is to leave his position in England to become coach of Minnesota United in Major League Soccer (MLS). The Welshman will become the youngest head coach in the North American league.

The 32-year-old, who previously coached Chelsea’s Under-23 team and was assistant coach of the Welsh national team, will leave the Reds Devils after their Premier League match against rivals Manchester City on Sunday (4:30pm).

“I’m incredibly excited to be joining a club with such a strong soccer culture, passionate fan base and brilliant infrastructure,” Ramsay said. Minnesota United won the first league match against Austin (2-1) and currently occupies 4th place in the Western Conference.
