Justin Lin Among Early Favorites To Direct Spider-Man 4
Justin Lin (-200) has the inside track to direct Spider-Man 4. In March 2023, Jeff Sneider reported that Lin might be in contention to direct the next Spider-Man. Lin directed several Fast & Furious films, so his blockbuster experience could translate to Marvel.
John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein (+600) are the directing duo behind Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. Daley and Goldstein know Peter Parker inside and out after co-writing Spider-Man: Homecoming. That familiarity with Holland’s character helps their chances of landing the gig.
Sam Raimi (+1000) directed three Spider-Man films starring Tobey Maguire. Abandoning a rumored Spider-Man 4 with Maguire to helm one with Holland is unlikely. However, Raimi might work with Marvel on Avengers: Secret Wars.
