Report: Damian Lillard Enters Concussion Protocol, Out Tuesday Vs. Raptors

According to Chris Haynes, Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard has entered concussion protocol. He will miss Tuesday’s NBA Cup game against the Toronto Raptors.

Lillard’s absence comes as the Bucks aim to turn their season around. They’re 2-8 and 14th in the Eastern Conference. Their lone wins came against the Philadelphia 76ers, which were missing Joel Embiid and Paul George, and the 2-7 Utah Jazz.

In addition to Lillard being sidelined, Milwaukee will remain without its versatile wing, Khris Middleton, who’s yet to play this season because of offseason ankle surgery. Toronto is also down key contributors for Tuesday’s matchup. Scottie Barnes (right orbital fracture), Kelly Olynyk (back strain) and Bruce Brown (knee) are out. Immanuel Quickley is listed as questionable with a left elbow sprain.

Lillard is averaging 26.0 points, 6.6 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 10 games this year.
