AJ Cole Signs Lucrative Contract Extension

Per Jordan Schultz, Cole has agreed to a four-year deal with the Raiders worth $15.8 million, with $11 million guaranteed.

Cole’s average annual salary of $3.95 million makes him the highest-paid punter in the NFL.

Cole was entering the final seasons of his four-year, $12 million contract. The extension keeps him with the Raiders through the 2029 season.

Cole, 29, is one of the best punters in the league. Cole went undrafted to the Raiders in 2019.

Cole is a two-time First-Team All-Pro selection (2021 and 2023) and a three-time Pro Bowl member (2021-2023).

The Raiders’ punter had the second-highest average punt per attempt (50.8) last season.
