WWE Evolution is an all-women’s PLE. The second-ever Evolution PLE will take place on Sunday, July 13, 2025.

It has been nearly seven years since the first-ever Evolution PLE. The first WWE Evolution PLE was on October 28, 2018.

The 2018 PLE sold roughly 7,000 tickets, with approximately 2,400 of those purchased by brokers/scalpers. While this was not considered a massive flop, it was significantly lower than most PLE events of that size.

The seat configuration for the first Evolution PLE was 10,900 seats, but WWE was only able to sell 7,000 tickets, with scalpers and brokers making up 2,400 of the 7,000 tickets sold.

Well, the second-ever Evolution PLE is not going any better. WWE is once again struggling to sell tickets for the Evolution event.

WWE Struggling To Sell Evolution Tickets

WWE’s second Evolution PLE is set to take place at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena. Saturday Night’s Main Events is the night before and has seen much more success with ticket sales than the Evolution event. Both events are being held at the State Farm Arena.

  • Saturday Night’s Main Event: has sold over 10,700 tickets, trending towards a sell-out
  • Evolution: Approximately 4,804 tickets have been distributed, with around 1,578 tickets still available

The capacity for Saturday Night’s Main Event is 12,785. With almost 85% of the tickets sold, this likely indicates it will sell out.

Evolution has a capacity of 6,652, which means just over 70% of tickets have been sold.

WWE expects a much bigger crowd for SNME than Evolution. This is a bad sign that the all-women’s PLE is just not a draw.

It is expected that SNME sells twice as many tickets as the Evolution PLE, despite both events being held in the exact same location.

Did WWE Set Evolution Up For Failure?

The second-ever Evolution PLE is not selling nearly as many tickets as the first time.

WWE did not do well building up to Evolution this time around. They did a much better job for the first Evolution PLE.

The first Evolution felt like WWE wanted it to be a success. A lot of good storylines were put in place.

This time around, it felt like it was thrown in last minute with no proper buildup or storylines to get people interested.

It is also not the best idea to put it on after SmackDown on Friday night and Saturday Night’s Main Event the night before. There is also an AEW PPV on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in the afternoon.

This is a lot of wrestling, and people are just not interested in the Evolution PLE after all these wrestling events.

The women in WWE have been excellent, but they were set up for failure by the company regarding this PLE.

Another thing that hurts the Evolution PLE is that Liv Morgan got injured and will miss the event. She was supposed to have a big storyline for the event.

WWE did a lot of things wrong for Evolution. Mainly terrible buildups and storylines for it.

This may be the last Evolution PLE WWE has, as the last one was seven years ago, and this event is not drawing nearly the interest the first one did.
