Caitlin Clark and Sabrina Ionescu highlight the WNBA’s STARRY® 3-Point Contest coming to WNBA All-Star Weekend 2025. See who else will be participating in the league’s events below.

Clark and Ionescu are the two standouts in the 3-point contest.
Clark is best known for her unlimited range, which sometimes sees her taking shots from the court’s logo. Despite her shooting prowess, Clark has struggled from behind the arc, shooting 28 of 97 (28.9%) this season.
Clark did not participate in the 3-point contest last season as a rookie. Now, Clark receives a chance to impress the fans on her team’s home court in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Ionescu is the greatest 3-point shootout contestant in WNBA history. Ionescu scored a record-breaking 37 points to win in the final round of the 2023 contest. Like Clark, Ionescu is also struggling to shoot the three this season, making 47 of 152 attempts (30.9%).
The three remaining contestants joining Clark and Ionescu are Sonia Citron of the Washington Mystics, Kelsey Plum of the Los Angeles Sparks, and Allisha Gray of the Atlanta Dream.
Gray won the 3-point contest and skills challenge in 2024.
The 3-point contest is a two-round competition with ball racks at five shooting locations around the 3-point line. Four of the racks contain four WNBA official balls (one point) and one money ball (two points).
The fifth rack consists of five money balls, with each made basket worth two points.
Also, there are two deep-shot locations called “The STARRY® Range.” These locations contain a special STARRY® ball worth three points.
The two highest scores after the first round advance to the finals.

Gray will also compete in the Kia WNBA Skills Challenge.
Gray will be joined by Natasha Cloud of the New York Liberty, Skylar Diggins and Erica Wheeler of the Seattle Storm, and Courtney Williams of the Minnesota Lynx.

The skills challenge is a timed obstacle course that incorporates basketball movements and abilities.
The challenge includes dribbling, a bounce pass, a chest pass, an outlet pass, an elbow jumper, a 3-pointer, and a corner three. The two players with the fastest times advance to compete in the final round.
The 3-point contest and skills challenge will be held at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis at 8 p.m. ET on Friday on ESPN. The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game will air the next night from the same building at 8:30 ET on ABC.
