Two high profile tennis couples are either celebrating or preparing to celebrate major life events. Being part of a tennis couple is very challenging. Opposing tour schedules, globe trotting travel, and the discipline of being a professional athlete make relationships between two tennis players difficult.
Elina Svitolina And Gael Monfils
Married players Elina Svitolina and Gael Monfils are celebrating their fourth wedding anniversary. The pair have seemed to strike a wonderful balance of family and tennis with their daughter Skai who will turn three in October.

Svitolina is stoic on the tennis court, but their social media posts show her lighter and funnier side. She is currently ranked World No. 14.

Gael Monfils is World No. 49. Monfils will be playing in the 2025 Mubadala Citi Open beginning next week. In addition to singles, he will play doubles with Australia’s Nick Kyrgios.
Katie Boulter And Alex De Minaur
Engaged tennis couple Katie Boulter and Alex de Minaur appear to be inching closer to their wedding. World No. 41 Boulter, engaged to World No. 12 de Minaur since last Christmas, shared a social media post hinting that the big day will happen sometime in 2026. It appears they are taking photographs at a potential wedding site as they use the post-Wimbledon time to iron out wedding plans.

De Minaur has been joking most of the year about earning prize money for the wedding. Tennis fans expected the couple to play the US Open mixed doubles championship this fall. Boulter was noncommital when asked about it in June saying the pair needed to talk about it. As of now, they are not on the initial entry list, but the final entry window closes on July 28 so it is still possible the two will participate.
