Happy Birthday To Baltimore Ravens UDFA Reuben Lowery, The Mechanical Engineer Trying To Make The Team

Reuben Lowery turns 23 on July 30, 2025. It is unclear what type of birthday celebration he may have since his focus right now is on Baltimore Ravens football camp and trying to make the 53-man roster as an undrafted free agent.

Lowery is a man of many talents on and off-the-field.

Who Is Reuben Lowery?

Lowery graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a 4.0 GPA and Latin honors. He was also a member of the UTC student group called “Rocket Mocs” which earned NASA recognition as among the nation’s best from 2019-2023.

His degree is in mechanical engineering which is a solid Plan B after football.  However, Lowery has a Plan C also.

Football, Mechanical Engineering, And What Else?

His UT-Chattanooga football page says that he has a potential voiceover career planned if football and mechanical engineering do not work out.

Ravens Coach Jim Harbaugh Raved About Lowery

It is too soon to know if Lowery will make the 53-man-roster, but we do know that he has Ravens HC Jim Harbaugh’s attention. Harbuagh talked about Lowery two times in press conferences within the past week.

Harbaugh said: “Reuben is ‘all ball.’ He’s ‘all ball’ every day. All he thinks about, all he talks about, eats it, sleeps it. He comes out here & flies around. Very smart player.”

Keep an eye out for Reuben Lowery who will likely get playing time when the Ravens host the Indianapolis Colts in their first 2025 preseason game on Thursday, August 7 at 7 PM EDT.
