Arizona Cardinals legend Larry Fitzgerald will be eligible for the Hall of Fame for the first time this year, and the oddsmakers believe he’s a shoo-in to be enshrined.
Fitzgerald’s first-ballot Hall of Fame chances sit at a whopping 95.2%, which is higher than Saints superstar Drew Brees.
Fitzgerald has the second-most receiving yards in NFL history with 17,492 and made 11 Pro Bowls over an illustrious 17-year career.
He also had one of the most memorable playoff runs in history, catching 30 passes for 546 yards and seven touchdowns in four 2008 postseason games as the Cardinals made a run to the Super Bowl.
Fitzgerald, Brees, tight end Jason Witten, quarterback Philip Rivers, running back LeSean McCoy and others are newly eligible for the Hall of Fame.
Stars like Terrell Suggs, Luke Kuechly and Eli Manning remain on the ballot after falling short of enshrinement last season.
While the list of potential candidates is long, Fitzgerald stands out as a clear favorite to make the Hall of Fame in 2026.
