2023 US Open and 2025 French Open Champion, Coco Gauff, is the face of New Balance, and the brand has done extraordinary work for her.
The 2025 US Open kit is no exception. It has throwback feels to 2023, affectionately known as the “Summer of Coco” which culminated in her maiden Grand Slam in New York.
Coco Gauff Is Wearing Red In New York
Tennis fans will never forget watching a tearful and jubilant Coco fall down on the court in her red New Balance Kit after defeating Aryna Sabalenka.
We have not seen much red since then so what better time to bring it back?

How Coco Gauff Is Preparing For The US Open
Gauff has taken a lot of heat for her up-and-down season, but she won the French Open so it is largely unwarranted.
One thing that we have learned over Coco Gauff’s short career is that she is not afraid to make changes.
She comes to this tournament amid the news that she fired her coach of about one year, Matt Daly.
Gauff hired biomedical trainer Gavin McMillan who has a stellar reputation in women’s tennis. He worked with World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka a few years ago when her serve became problematic.
Fans hope McMillan can make quick inroads because her serve has been the thorn in her side. Gauff worked in the rain on the US Open practice courts with McMillan to get some quick lessons in before the main draw begins.
He appeared to be working on her motion which included her hip motion.
Coco Gauff’s US Open Draw
Gauff is seeded third in this year’s tournament. She opens her campaign on Sunday, August 24 against Australian Ajla Tomljanovic.
It is hard to believe that Gauff and Tomljanovic have only played one previous time. That resulted in a win for Gauff at the 2024 Paris Olympics Round of 64.
