The US Open men’s final is expected to be an epic clash between World No. 1 Jannik Sinner and World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz. The pair have traded Grand Slam wins over the past couple of years; however, the most memorable is Alcaraz’s come from behind win at the 2025 French Open.
In addition to great tennis, the USTA National Tennis Center will be a hub of activity. For those of us who will not be viewing the 2 PM ET final in person, we can expect to see the signature Honey Deuce drink in spectators’ hands and a Presidential visit on our television screens.

The Honey Deuce is to the US Open what the Mint Julep is to the Kentucky Derby. In 2024, over 550,000 Honey Deuce drinks were sold at $23 a pop resulting in nearly $13 million in sales. It contains Grey Goose Vodka, lemonade, raspberry liqueur, and is served with honeydew melon balls resembling tennis balls. The drink comes in a commemorative US Open glass.
There is a Honey Deuce sold every 1.5 seconds during the US Open, and players who have lost this year have been seen drinking them: Jessica Pegula, Taylor Townsend, and Naomi Osaka.

President Donald Trump To Attend
This year’s US Open men’s final has extra pomp and circumstance as President Trump is expected to attend for the first time since 2015.
Additional security measures will certainly be in place as the President and other VIPs file into Arthur Ashe Stadium for the match.
The last day of the US Open always draws massive crowds, despite conflicting with the opening Sunday of the new NFL season, and today will be no different.
