Jack Draper’s Replacement Named For Six Kings Slam

Due to injury, Jack Draper was forced to end his season after the US Open, making him unable to compete in October’s Six Kings Slam.

The second annual Six Kings Slam is scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from October 15-18, 2025. Play will commence on October 15 and 16 with an off-day on the 17th and the finals on the 18th.

Jannik Sinner is the defending champion. He is joined this year by Draper’s replacement: Stefanos Tsitispas, Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Taylor Fritz, and Alexander Zverev.

The Six Kings Slam poster was revealed last month, and I wrote about Taylor Fritz looking like Andy Murray. It is unclear when the new poster will be generated with Tsitsipas included.

Big Money In Six Kings Slam

The winner of the Six Kings Slam gets more money than if he won a Grand Slam. $6 million is the grand prize; while the other five players get $1.5 million for an appearance fee.

That’s not bad for three days’ work.

Tennis exhibitions, defined as matches that have no ranking points associated with them, are growing which is somewhat confounding since the schedule is jam packed.

Another example is the Laver Cup which is happening in San Francisco this weekend.

There is a new one coming up in New Jersey in December. Called “Racquet in the Rock,” it is slated for December 7 in Newark, New Jersey. Carlos Alcaraz will play Frances Tiafoe, and Emma Raducanu will play Amanda Anisimova.

Is there demand for more tennis that these are being added to an already jam packed calendar?

We will have to wait and see.
