The Dolphins might be experiencing a season from hell.
In Week 1, Daniel Jones and the Indianapolis Colts dismantled the Dolphins 33-8. The Miami defense surrendered 418 total yards and allowed the Colts to score on all seven of their offensive drives.
The Dolphins followed up the Week 1 dud with a 33-27 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday.
Offensively, the supposedly high-powered Dolphins offense has been below average through two games. Miami ranks 25th in yards per game (284.5) and points per game (17.5).
Tagovailoa is a quarterback who relies on timing. Getting sacked eight times through two games is not a recipe for success.
Frankly, the Dolphins appear to be an undisciplined mess. There have been rumblings that head coach Mike McDaniel might have lost the locker room. Could another bad performance lead to a coaching change?
Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills are once again one of the best teams in the NFL.
The Bills pulled off a miraculous comeback victory over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1, scoring 16 unanswered points to pull out a 41-40 win.
The Bills’ offense is first in yards per game (450.0) and second in points per game (35.5).
Quarterback Josh Allen has owned the Dolphins (12-2 record). Miami has not won in Buffalo since 2016.

James Cook is off to a stellar start this season on the ground.
Despite holding on to start training camp, Cook has not missed a step to start the season.
Cook is fourth in the NFL in rushing (176 yards) and is coming off a 132-yard performance against the New York Jets.
These two teams are on opposite sides of the spectrum in time of possession. The Bills are first (36:35), and the Dolphins are 32nd (23:46).
If the Bills control the ball like they have been, Cook should hit his rushing prop.
