Cam Ward Has Harsh Words About The Tennessee Titans After Week 4 Loss

The Tennessee Titans fell to 0-4 after their ugly loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday, and rookie quarterback Cam Ward expressed some frustration with his comments in post game interviews.

Cam Ward Frustrated After 0-4 Start By Titans

Things haven’t been easy for the top overall pick from the most recent draft. Ward showed some flashes of the skills during Tennessee’s first four games that made him the top prospect in 2025, but the Titans have yet to finish in the win column.

Despite the losing, Cam Ward appeared to improve each week. In Week 3 against the Colts, he was able to complete 60.5% of his passes, and finished with 219 yards and a touchdown. He was hoping to build on that performance against a reeling Houston Texans team on Sunday, but had his worst game as a pro instead.

In Week 4, Ward completed just 10 of his 26 pass attempts, managing to post just 108 yards. He threw an interception and was sacked twice, and the Titans lost 26-0 to remain winless.

When sharing his thoughts after the game, Cam Ward had the following comments:

“If we keeping it a buck, we ass.”

It isn’t all Ward’s fault, as he hasn’t had much help from his teammates. Dropped passes have been an issue for Titans’ receivers thus far, a trend that continued in Sunday’s defeat. The young quarterback has been sacked 17 times in four games, including 11 times in the first two.

Ward is currently on paced to be sacked 72 times this year, which would be the second-most of any rookie QB in NFL history. The record belongs to David Carr who was sacked 76 times in 2002.

How long will it be before the Titans pick up their first win of the 2025 season? Ward and company will be on the road for three of their next four games, starting with a game against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5.
