Banana Ball will expand in 2026.
Savannah Bananas founder Jessie Cole announced that the inaugural season of the Banana Ball Championship League is coming in 2026.
The league previously consisted of four teams: the Bananas, the Party Animals, the Texas Tailgaters, and the Firefighters. Two more teams will join Banana Ball next year: the Loco Beach Coconuts and the Indianapolis Clowns. The Coconuts are a beach-themed ball club, while the Clowns are a tribute to the Negro Leagues team of the same name.
The league is adding two “Primetime Coach” positions for the new teams. Both coaches previously played for the Philadelphia Phillies. Shane Victorino will lead the Coconuts, and Ryan Howard will coach the Clowns.
The new league is adding new “Primetime Coach” positions which will be manned by two former major league players on the new teams — Shane Victorino on Loco Beach and Ryan Howard on Indianapolis.
Per Cole, the primetime coaches will manage only the big games during the season. However, both coaches will be involved with the teams all year, conduting interviews and interacting on social media.

Banana Ball is taking over the country. In 2026, the Banana Ball Championship League will play in 75 stadiums in 45 states in front of 3.2 million fans.
Notable stops in 2026 include two stadiums that can hold over 100,000 people — Texas A&M’s Kyle Field and Tennessee’s Neyland Stadium.
Other spots on the tour include Yankee Stadium, the Superdome, Autzen Stadium, Gillette Stadium, and Wrigley Field.
Banana Ball is headed to 14 MLB parks and 10 football stadiums, including two with a capacity of over 100,000 — Texas A&M’s Kyle Field (102,000) and Tennessee’s Neyland Stadium (101,000). They’ll even play at Billings, Montana’s Dehler Park, which will host the smallest crowd in Banana Ball history at 3,000.

For a chance to purchase 2026 tickets, you must enter a lottery list on the official website of the Savannah Bananas.
Per the website, “Once your entry is submitted and verified, you’ll be eligible for the random drawing to purchase tickets in your selected city.”
If your name is selected in the lottery, you will have a chance to buy a ticket.
The lottery is now open and will close on Oct. 31.
