Mark Sanchez: “I’m Just Focused On My Recovery”
Sanchez has been charged with felony battery and several misdemeanors after allegedly assaulting a truck driver outside a downtown Indianapolis hotel on October 4. In self-defense, the truck driver deployed pepper spray and pulled out a knife, stabbing Sanchez in his upper right torso.
According to a police affidavit, the 38-year-old Sanchez confronted 69-year-old Perry Tole after Tole backed his truck into the hotel’s loading dock. In a lawsuit filed Monday, Tole claimed Sanchez entered his truck without permission, then blocked his path and shoved him, prompting Tole to use pepper spray in self-defense.
