Seth Rollins has solidified himself as one of the best in WWE. Rollins runs Raw as the World Heavyweight Champion.
He has been a part of the faction known as “The Vision”, which Rollins is the leader of. The other members of the group are Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman.
On Saturday, October 11, at WWE Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia, Seth Rollins did a coast-to-coast move. Here is a video of him performing the move.

You can immediately see that something is wrong with his arm after the move was performed.
There is a photo of Rollins in Australia with his arm in a sling.

The severity of the injury is currently unknown, but it could put him out of action for a while.
With the possibility of Rollins missing a lot of time due to the injury, this has shaken up creative plans for WWE.
Seth Rollins’ Potential Injury Is Shaking Up WWE Creative Plans
In a shocking turn of events, on the October 13 episode of Raw, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman turned on Seth Rollins.
WHAT JUST HAPPENED?! 🤯

This was not the original plan. The original plan was for Rollins, Breakker, and Reed to team with two other men for Survivor Series War Games PLE at the end of November. The breakup was eventually going to happen, but the plan was to break the group up in the new year. With the injury, the plans needed to be changed, and they split them up early.
Depending on the severity of the injury, it appears that it will be unlikely that Rollins will be able to compete at Survivor Series War Games.
This will shake up the entire plan for the PLE.
One other thing to consider is what WWE decides to do with the World Heavyweight Championship.
Will Rollins Have To Vacate The World Heavyweight Championship?
This will depend on the severity of his injury. If it is deemed that the injury is severe and Rollins will miss significant time, he will have to vacate the World Heavyweight Championship.
If Rollins does have to vacate the title, here are possible candidates to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
- Bron Breakker
- Bronson Reed
- CM Punk
- Jey Uso
- LA Knight
- Roman Reigns
- Gunther
Bron Breakker
Bron Breakker is a candidate to become the new champion. After he attacked Rollins, alongside Bronson Reed, Breakker held up the title to end Raw. This could be a signal of the direction WWE is headed. It is a matter of time before WWE skyrockets Breakker and puts the title on him. Due to Rollins’ injury, this may get fast-tracked, as the plan was to hold off for a bit before putting the title on him. Breakker feels like a good early candidate to win the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble to become the number one contender for the Heavyweight Championship or Undisputed WWE Championship. Time will tell if WWE simply pulls the trigger and puts the title on Breakker in the near future or if they decide to wait till WrestleMania.
Bronson Reed
Another candidate is the other member of the vision, Bronson Reed. Reed is coming off a massive win against Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel. This could buy WWE time before putting the title on Breakker. Reed makes for a good candidate as he has been pushed to become one of the top guys in WWE. Reed feels like a future Heavyweight champion, similarly to Breakker. WWE could decide to fast-track either member of the vision.
CM Punk
CM Punk won a triple threat match on the October 13 episode of Raw. The triple threat match was to become the number one contender for the Heavyweight Championship. Punk and Rollins have a history together and dislike one another. Rollins has repeatedly stated that as long as he is in WWE, he will make sure Punk never becomes champion. It would be a good storyline if Punk becomes champion with Rollins on the shelf. Punk is also a strong champion to have as WWE gears up for WrestleMania season in the coming months.
Jey Uso
Jey Uso is a former Heavyweight champion. He defeated Gunther to win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. WWE could decide to put the title back on him as he remains a fan favorite. With Uso losing the triple threat match, it does not make much sense to put the title back on him.
LA Knight
LA Knight has not won a Heavyweight Championship yet, but has been in the storylines with the top guys. WWE could decide to give him a chance as Champion, although it feels unlikely at this point, with WrestleMania season around the corner. Similar to Jey Uso losing the triple threat match, it does not make much sense to put the title on Knight.
Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns is another candidate. Reigns and Rollins have a major history together, dating back years to the faction known as the Shield. WWE may decide to go the route of putting the title on Reigns. WWE is always planning for the future, and with WrestleMania season approaching, WWE may decide to put the title on its top guy.
Gunther
Gunther has been on the shelf for a few months but is expected to return soon. There are rumors that he will be John Cena’s final opponent in December. Gunther is a former Heavyweight Champion and rarely gets defeated. WWE pushes Gunther strongly. He is a strong candidate to return and win back his Heavyweight Championship.
