The Baltimore Ravens could be one of the active teams during the upcoming trade deadline, potentially as both buyers and sellers. One of the players that has been the subject of trade rumors is tight end Mark Andrews, who could be on the move if a team presents the Ravens with a legitimate offer.
Rams Could Be Interested In Trading For Mark Andrews
One of those teams could be the Los Angeles Rams. Sean McVay and company are sitting at 5-2 and tied for the NFC West lead, and have championship aspirations while sitting with the 6th-shortest Super Bowl odds of any NFL team. But there are areas for potential improvement, including the offensive weapons that currently surround quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Something that they could use is a go-to, reliable tight end option. There have been four different tight ends that have caught passes for the Rams so far in 2025, led by Tyler Higbee and his 121 yard total. With two star wide receivers in place in Davante Adams and Puka Nacua, bringing in a veteran like Mark Andrews could open up the pass game even more.
Andrews has played his entire eight-year NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens after being drafted by the team in the third round of the 2018 draft. Over that span, he’s earned three Pro Bowl selections, recording nine or more touchdown receptions in three separate seasons. Throughout his tenure, he has established himself as one of quarterback Lamar Jackson’s most dependable and productive receiving options.
Numbers Down Across The Board For Andrews In 2025
But all signs are pointing to his time in Baltimore coming to an end. Andrews’ contract is set to expire at the end of the current campaign, at which point he will become a free agent. And while he’s been one of the franchise’s most reliable players over the past near-decade, the Ravens have the necessary depth to allow him to walk. Before that happens, though, they may try to squeeze out some compensation by making him available for trade discussions.

This season, Andrews is averaging career lows in receiving yards per game and yards per catch. His snap count has remained consistent year-over-year, but the absence of Lamar Jackson has certainly caused a dip in his production.
Mark Andrews is the all-time touchdowns leader in Baltimore Ravens franchise history with 54 scores.
