On Monday, the New York Giants made Brian Daboll the second NFL head coach fired in 2025. There are a handful of other lead men around the league that are on the hot seat as we head into the home stretch of the season, and the oddsmakers at Polymarket have made their predictions for who will be cut loose next.
Polymarket Predicts Next NFL Coach To Be Fired
Here are some of the head coaches who are candidates to be the next to be fired:

Kevin Stefanski – 28%
Kevin Stefanski is Cleveland’s longest tenured coach since 1983, but there could be a breakup on the horizon. In his first four seasons at the helm, Stefanski’s Browns posted a record of 37-30, and made two playoff appearances. Since then, they’re 5-21, including the 2-7 mark that the team currently has heading into Week 11, and any further losing could cost the head coach his job.
Not only are the Browns struggling, but their remaining schedule consists of tough matchups with the Ravens, 49ers, and Bills, among others. If Cleveland only ends up winning a couple of more games in 2025, Stefanski has a legit chance of being the next NFL coach to be fired.

Mike McDaniel – 24%
A few weeks back, it looked like Mike McDaniel being fired was a foregone conclusion. But the Dolphins instead pivoted to letting go of their general manager instead, and it has been reported that team ownership still believes in McDaniel. There are still assumptions that he will be fired at the conclusion of the NFL season, but his job appears safe at least for the time being, especially after Miami’s surprising, dominant win over the Bills in Week 10.
When it comes to the Polymarket percentages, McDaniel is behind only Stefanski.

Zac Taylor – 20%
The situation surrounding Zac Taylor and the Bengals is one of the more convoluted in the league. The coach has certainly endured his share of struggles over the past few seasons, but there is an obvious source of the issues. Star quarterback Joe Burrow has played in just 29 of a possible 51 games over the past 2.5 seasons, and Cincinnati has failed to live up to expectations because of it.
But Burrow was fully healthy for all 17 games in 2024, and he led the NFL in completions, yards, and touchdowns. The Bengals still missed the playoffs. So while he’s been without his starting QB for all but two games this year, Cincy’s 3-6 mark puts Zac Taylor on the hot seat.
