As we noted earlier, Jannik Sinner is playing golf, and Taylor Fritz is taking a crack at celebrity poker during the brief tennis offseason.
Fritz joined fellow celebrities, Olympic swimming legend Michael Phelps, Impractical Jokers Joe Gatto, NBA star Paul Pierce, and model India Love to name a few at the Celebrity Poker Tour Championships earlier this week.

We know Fritz plays video games while traveling with the ATP Tour, but we did not know poker was also a hobby.
While Fritz did not win the event, it is great to see tennis players let loose and engage in other activities in the quick offseason.
Taylor Fritz 2026 Season Preparations Will Begin Soon
Fritz will be back to his day job soon. He will once again team with Coco Gauff and other US players at the United Cup in Australia beginning January 2, 2026.
The United States won the United Cup by defeating Poland to open the 2025 season with Fritz and Gauff playing both singles and doubles.
He is the highest ranked American tennis player and the one who has come closest to winning a Grand Slam, finishing as the 2024 US Open finalist. Fritz, 28, will look to challenge Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz who have won every Grand Slam title since January 2024.
The last time Fritz beat Sinner was in 2021, but he defeated Alcaraz at the 2025 Laver Cup. He is 1-5 in his career against Alcaraz and 1-4 against Sinner.
