The altercation occurred around 10:00 a.m. local time at UAB’s Football Operations Center. Two defensive linemen from the same team sustained stab wounds and were transported to UAB Hospital. Both men were described as stable and suffering non-life-threatening injuries. Minutes later, Mincey was taken into custody by UAB Campus Police and later booked into the county jail.
