Manny ‘Jimuel’ Pacquiao Jr. Makes Pro Boxing Debut On Saturday Night

Manny “Jimuel” Pacquiao, Jr., the 24-year-old son of the Pride of the Philippines, Manny Pacquiao, is making his professional boxing debut on November 29, 2025 at approximately 10 PM ET.

The younger Pacquiao is taking on fellow rookie Brendan Lally, the 23-year-old English teacher from Chicago, Illinois who is a former collegiate boxing champion.

The fight is set to take place at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California.

ESPN Deportes and ESPN Knockout will show the fight.

Jimuel Pacquiao Has Been Living And Training In The US

Though greatly influenced by his father, Jimuel Pacquiao has been forging his own path, training in the US since 2021.

Many fans believe boxing is the family business for the Pacquiao clan, but the truth is that Jimuel’s legendary father did not invite him to the gym or encourage him to follow in his footsteps.

Jimuel bears the mixed blessing of his famous last name.

Manny Pacquiao Productions is sponsoring the fight (its first ever US event).

He will automatically be compared to his father.

In a radio interview earlier in the week, Jimuel said that he hoped his father has hung up his boxing gloves for good, but he would support him if he stepped into the ring again.

Also this week, Manny Pacquiao, 47, did not comment on the rumors that a Floyd Mayweather rematch was in the works for him next year.
