To begin the 2025-26 season, the Warriors are 11-10 through their first 21 games. That is eighth in the Western Conference. Golden State is 5-5 in their last 10 and are coming off a win on Saturday vs. the Pelicans.

During training camp, Seth Curry, Steph Curry’s younger brother, was with the Warriors. However, they had to cut ties with Curry due to financial reasons. On Sunday, November 30, NBA insider Shams Charania reported that Golden State is expected to reunite with Seth Curry. They are signing the 35-year-old to a contract for the remainder of 2025-26.

Seth Curry is set to join the Warriors full-time for the final 61 games of the season

In 2013, Seth Curry went undrafted out of Duke. He worked his way up and eventually made his way to the NBA. Curry has played for the Grizzlies, Cavaliers, Suns, Kings, Mavericks, Trail Blazers, 76ers, Nets, and Hornets. During training camp ahead of the 2025-26 season, Seth Curry was with the Warriors. He was set to play professionally with his brother Steph for the first time in their careers.

However, the Warriors had to waive Seth Curry during training camp. That’s because the Warriors are hard-capped at the second-apron. They did not have enough cap space to add Curry in October. As of Sunday, November 30, NBA insiders reported that Curry intends to sign with Golden State.

When Seth Curry makes his debut for the Warriors, it will be his 12th season in the NBA. Despite being the younger brother of one of the top modern-day point guards, Seth Curry has carved out a solid professional career. He’s made 945 career three-pointers in the NBA. His .433% shooting percentage from beyond the arc is seventh all-time in NBA history. Seth Curry knows a thing or two about shooting from deep.

The Curry brothers have long expressed a desire to play with each other in the NBA. Seth got his start with the San Cruz Warriors in the G League to start his career. However, he left Santa Cruz and went to pursue his own path. Twelve years later, the Curry brothers are set to be on the same roster. Seth will have to wait to play with Steph. The four-time NBA champion is out due to a left quad strain.
