Amateurs will be selected from the state championship, qualifying, and wild card ranks by the Australian Open to go up against Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Nick Kyrgios, Iga Swiatek, and Coco Gauff. More professional players will be added in the coming weeks.

The Australian Open 1 Point Slam is geared to amateur tennis players who want to test their skills against the best of the game.
It also attracts interest from tennis fans who sometimes feel that 5 hour matches are too long.

After the matchups are determined, a game of “Rock, Paper, Scissors” will determine who is the server and the returner.
