25 years ago Anna Kournikova was the “it girl” of tennis, long before the social media feeding frenzy and fans carrying cell phones that could take pictures of her every move.
Kournikova attracted so much attention for her shots and appearance before injuries curtailed her career.
Since retiring from the sport in 2003, the 44-year-old has largely stayed out of the public eye.
Despite being in a long-term relationship with singer Enrique Iglesias, the couple manages to maintain privacy.
Kournikova recently took to social media to announce the birth of her fourth child on December 17.

The child whom Kournikova labeled “My Sunshine” but did not specify the gender joins older siblings twins Lucy and Nicholas, 8, and Mary, 5.
Kournikova Will Always Attract Attention
Whether she wants to or not, Anna Kournikova will always attract attention.
In January, she was spotted in a wheelchair wearing an orthopedic boot on her right leg, and the internet went crazy wondering what happened to her.
It looks like she has figured out a way to navigate her life and share information as she sees fit through social media.
Anna Kournikova’s Career
Her biggest and best accomplishments were realized by playing doubles.
She won 16 titles, two were Australian Opens, playing with Martina Hingis.

Kournikova also teamed with Hingis to win back-to-back tour championships in 1999 and 2000, previously called the WTA Tour Championships and now known as the WTA Finals.
