76ers Sign MarJon Beauchamp To Two-Way Contract, Waive Hunter Sallis

Recently, the G League held its Winter Showcase event. All 30 teams met for a tournament. It’s a time for players to showcase their skills in front of NBA scouts and executives.

One standout from the Winter Showcase was MarJon Beauchamp of the Delaware Blue Coats. They are the G League affiliate of the 76ers. With the success he’s had lately, Beauchamp has earned a small promotion. NBA insiders announced Wednesday that the 25-year-old has signed a two-way contract with Philadelphia. To make that happen, the Sixers waived Hunter Sallis.

MarJon Beauchamp earned an opportunity for a two-way contract

With the 24th pick in the 2022 NBA draft, the Bucks selected MarJon Beauchamp out of Yakima Valley Community College. Beauchamp spent the first three seasons of his career with Milwaukee. He appeared in 126 games and made 12 starts. In 2024-25, the Bucks traded MarJon Beauchamp to the Clippers to acquire Kevin Porter Jr. just before the deadline. He appeared in just three games for LA before being waived.

MarJon Beauchamp signed a two-way contract with the Knicks in March 2025. He made six appearances for New York. To begin the 2025-26 season, Beauchamp was in the G League as a member of the Delaware Blue Coats. Lately, Marjon Beauchamp has been playing at a high level. He scored 30 and 23 points in back-to-back games during the G League showcase.

That was enough for the 76ers to sign MarJon Beauchamp to a two-way contract. He’ll have an opportunity to play for the Sixers during the 2025-26 regular season. Through hard work in the G League, the young SF has found a pathway back into the NBA. By signing MarJon Beauchamp, the 76ers waived Hunter Sallis.

In the 2025 NBA draft, Hunter Sallis went undrafted out of Wake Forest. He was on a two-way contract with the Sixers. Unfortunately, he was waived to sign MarJon Beauchamp. Sallis appeared in seven games for the Sixers and made zero starts. He averaged 3.7 minutes per game. After a loss to the Nets on Tuesday night, the Sixers are 16-12 through their first 28 games. That is fifth in the Eastern Conference.
