Nick Kyrgios defeated Aryna Sabalenka 6-3, 6-3 to win the 2025 Battle of the Sexes in Dubai on December 28, 2025.
This event was unusual with its concessions which included a smaller court for Sabalenka and one serve.
Aesthetically, for those that tuned in live, it was not easy to watch because of the two court sizes.

At times, Kyrgios looked winded but managed to win.
It may be a bit of Monday morning quarterbacking, but the concessions did not benefit Sabalenka. She had to take some off of her serve to ensure it was getting in since there was only chance.
Aryna Sabalenka Said She Was Up For A Rematch
This event was controversial from the time it was announced.
Sunday in Dubai, Aryna Sabalenka faces 2022 Wimbledon men’s singles runner-up Nick Kyrgios in “The Battle of the Sexes.”
Unlike the 1973 epic between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs, plenty of stars have taken aim at today’s contest, questioning how tennis benefits from it. pic.twitter.com/iadVXHYoKj

Sabalenka was a good sport and said that she is up for the challenge of a rematch.
Is there a demand for a rematch?

They did fill the stadium and got a lot of tv coverage across the globe but not sure the point of this event…the contest felt very flat to me; Not convinced either if Nick is fit enough for the Australian circuit in January; @Tennis @ATP

Aryna Sabalenka choosing to be part of this whole thing with Kyrgios is already a no for me, and now the court is not even aligned. What the hell is this mess?😂#BattleoftheSexespic.twitter.com/dh6qj8ZAE8
