The Nebraska Cornhuskers finished the 2025 season with a 7-6 record. It ended with a 44-22 loss to #23 Utah in the 2025 SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl.
Suddenly, Nebraska will without QB Dylan Raiola next season. By mid-December, Raiola announced he was entering the transfer portal for his junior season. Raiola still has two years of NCAA eligibility remaining.
On Saturday, January 10, Dylan Raiola visited with Oregon. Two days later, college football insider Pete Thamel reported that he has committed to the Ducks for 2026.

Coming out of high school, Dylan Raiola was a highly-touted five-star recruit. He had offers from several top teams around the country. Raiola originally committed to play for Georgia before he flipped and landed with Nebraska.
At the time, committing to Nebraska made the most sense for Raiola. Dylan Raiola’s father played for the Cornhuskers, and his uncle coached the offensive line. The 20-year-old played two seasons under head coach Matt Rhule.
As a true freshman in 2024, Dylan Raiola started all 13 games for Nebraska. He passed for 2,819 yards, 13 touchdowns, and a Big 10-leading 11 interceptions. During his sophomore campaign, Raiola appeared in nine of 13 games for the Cornhuskers. Unfortunately, he suffered a broken fibula in his right leg on November 1.
In December 2025, Dylan Raiola announced he is entering the transfer portal, ending his two-year career with Nebraska. Oregon was among the rumored destinations for Raiola, along with Miami and Texas Tech.

On Monday, January 12, college football insider Pete Thamel announced Dylan Raiola has committed to Oregon for his junior season in 2026. He will either be the backup behind Dante Moore or the full-time starter if Moore enters the upcoming NFL draft.
The Ducks want to be prepared at QB if Dante Moore decides to take his talents to the next level. That’s why they brought in Dylan Raiola. Oregon has finished 13+ wins in each of the last two seasons, including two consecutive trips to the CFB playoffs. Dan Lanning and the Ducks have fielded a competitive roster each season. Can Dylan Raiola hold up to Oregon’s standard if he is their starter in 2026?
