CoinPoker just dropped the details on its biggest guaranteed festival yet. The Battle of Malta Online Series runs July 12 through August 3, and the numbers behind it are worth breaking down piece by piece.
1. The Guarantee Is the Largest in CoinPoker’s History
CoinPoker is putting $30,000,000 on the line across the 23-day series, topping every guarantee the platform has run before. That figure covers everything from the Main Events down to smaller side tournaments spread across the schedule.
The scale puts Battle of Malta Online Series ahead of CoinPoker’s earlier World Poker Masters festival, which had previously stood as the platform’s biggest series before paying out more than $48,000,000 in total.
2. There Are Three Ways Into the Main Event Field
Rather than a single buy-in level, CoinPoker built three separate entry points into its Main Event lineup, letting bankroll decide where a player starts.
- $11 Main Crusader: $100,000 guaranteed
- $55 Main Challenger: $500,000 guaranteed
- $565 Main Event: $2,500,000 guaranteed
All three run separate Day 1 flights throughout the series, with every tier converging on Day 2 finals on August 3.
3. Two Tournaments Carry Seven Figure Guarantees on Their Own
Outside the Main Event lineup, CoinPoker is running two individual tournaments each worth a $1,000,000 guarantee. The $215 CoinMillion returns on July 12 with Day 2 the next day, while the $1,500 CoinMasters BTC High Roller carries the series’ other million dollar guarantee.
Both events previously built strong reputations during World Poker Masters, and both champions this time around will collect a physical trophy plus a digital Trophy Cabinet award on top of the money.
4. Winning Isn’t the Only Way to Land a Trip to Malta
CoinPoker is handing out 100 Battle of Malta Autumn Edition packages, each worth $2,500 with travel costs and a €600 Main Event ticket included. Notably, players do not need to win a tournament outright to claim one.
Of the 100 packages, 75 come through the Champion’s Trials system, earned by hitting participation milestones and advancing through Quarter Final, Semi Final, and Final rounds. The other 25 go to Day 1 chip leaders in the Main Events, or to those who qualify for special package freerolls through the smaller tiers.
5. The Final Weekend Alone Guarantees $10 Million
CoinPoker saved its heaviest guarantees for last. The closing Saturday through Monday stretch before the series wraps on August 3 carries $10,000,000 on its own, making it the single busiest weekend CoinPoker has ever scheduled.
That weekend brings Main Event finals, High Roller conclusions, and a final round of the series’ 77 trophy events together in one condensed run.
