On April 7, a woman from Jersey City, New Jersey, won $200,000 playing the Jin Ji Bao Xi Endless Treasure game at the online Tipico Casino.

Tipico Casino app helps expedite the real money deposit, withdrawal process, per US CEO Adrian Vella

According to Richard Janvrin of Gambling.com, this occurred after Tipico released a mobile app designed to appeal to women. A relaunch came in Fall 2023.

“On the heels of earning a first-place national ranking, we are excited to unveil a completely original experience for customers who desire to play Casino games in New Jersey,” said Adrian Vella, US CEO at Tipico, in October 2023.

“Unlike other online casinos that pigeonhole players, our product helps expedite the real money deposit and withdrawal process, providing a safe, secure experience. We are uniquely positioned to make huge leaps in 2024 and beyond with a combination of original and classic content, efficient processing, and our trusted brand heritage.”

The lucky woman decided to remain anonymous. In an exclusive interview with Tipico, she gave her first thoughts on her big winnings.

“I initially thought I won 20k, so, of course, I was…but then I looked again and screamed immediately because I realized it was 200k and not 20k. And I immediately went into shock,” she said.

“I haven’t decided on how I want to spend the money just yet. When I do, it will definitely be on something rewarding and worthwhile.”

In September 2023, a report released by Eilers and Krejcik ranked the New Jersey online casino as the best of 32 brands for its “exceptional Gaming Interface and Core,” per Janvrin.

Eilers and Krejcik conducted a series of tests across the core online markets of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. In the end, Tipico topped the list ahead of BetMGM and DraftKings’ standalone casino app.

Tipico helped the Garden State generate $521.5 million in total gaming revenue last September — a 7.5% increase year-over-year. Revenue was calculated from sports betting, casinos, and racetracks.

New Jersey woman plans to buy a house with her winnings

During the interview, the woman was asked by a Tipico official on what she plans to spend her $200,000 prize winnings on.

Of course, this will come after taxes.

“I may proceed with purchasing a home. No other casino has ever been this exceptional to me like Tipico,” she said.

“I first got into online casino games because my luck inside the casino hasn’t been so great. So I decided to try my luck with the online gaming.

“My advice to other players is to never spend money that’s necessary for survival. Meaning, money that’s meant for bills or necessities should never be spent on the casino. If you have extra money to spend, try your luck but always remain responsible.”

Online gambling in New Jersey will continue until at least 2028.

In June 2023, Gov. Phil Murphy signed legislation permitting a five-year extension of the state’s internet gambling law.

Since being legalized in February 2013, online casinos in New Jersey have generated more than $6.3 billion in online gambling revenue and over $928 million in taxes, according to Play NJ.

The 2013 approval was set to expire last November.
