Bernhard Langer lines up his putt on no. 18.

After 36 holes, Justin Rose remains in the lead at the Masters, but a pair of major winners is right behind him heading into the weekend.

Justin Rose Leads After Two Rounds

Rose holds the clubhouse lead for the second consecutive day. Rose struggled on Friday, shooting a 71 with four birdies and three bogeys. Rose heads into the third round at 8-under.

Bryson DeChambeau is one shot behind at 7-under after shooting 68. DeChambeau is the only player in this tournament with two sub-70 rounds.

After a disappointing end to his first round, Rory McIlroy came out firing with a 66 to get back into contention at 6-under. McIlroy is tied for third place with Corey Conners.

Scott Scheffler looked poised to enter the weekend with at least a share of the lead. However, Scheffler bogeyed five of his last 12 holes to put him three off the lead.

Scheffler set the internet ablaze when the cameras caught him sitting under a tree after driving his ball into the bushes on 18. Scheffler would go on to make a bogey.

Bernhard Langer Says Goodbye

Bernhard Langer won’t get the storybook ending to his Masters career. In his final Masters tournament, the 67-year-old missed the cut by one stroke.

The two-time Masters’ champion received a triumphant ovation as he walked off the 18th green.
