The deal keeps him under contract through 2028, with manageable cap hits early and a sharp increase by 2028, and the Packers are hoping that he’ll become one of the elite quarterbacks in the NFL by that time.

2. Rashan Gary — OLB — $25,771,138
Rashan Gary has become a key piece of the Packers’ defense since being drafted 12th overall in 2019. He signed a four-year, $96 million extension in 2023, with a $25.77 million cap hit in 2025 that ranks 5th-highest among all defensive players in the NFL. Known for his explosive edge rushing, Gary has 39 career sacks and is expected to lead the defense under new coordinator Jeff Hafley.
3. Kenny Clark — DT — $20,365,000
Kenny Clark, a three-time Pro Bowler and longtime leader on the Packers’ defensive line, signed a three-year, $64 million extension in July 2024 that keeps him under contract through 2027. 5. Elgton Jenkins — C — $17,600,000
