That includes a 122-117 win on Sunday vs. the Pacers. Cade Cunningham led the team offensively with 24 points and eight assists. Detroit has tied a franchise record for 13 straight wins.
It’s the third time in franchise history they’ve reached that mark. The Pistons will be on the road Wednesday evening to face the Celtics. Detroit will attempt to set a new franchise record with 14 consecutive wins.

After a 2-2 start to the 2025-26 season, the Pistons have won 13 consecutive games. The team hasn’t lost since Monday, October 27th. It’s the third time in franchise history that Detroit has won 13 games in a row. They accomplished that feat in 1989-90 and 2003-04. Detroit won the NBA Finals in both of those seasons.

Detroit is eighth in scoring for the 2025-26 season and fifth in points allowed per game. The Pistons are led by one-time all-star Cade Cunningham. He’s averaging a career-high 27.1 points and 9.6 assists per game this season.
Cunningham is the catalyst that runs Detroit’s offense. Head coach J.B. Bickerstaff asks a lot of the 24-year-old. Early in the year, the Pistons are enjoying great success with a 15-2 record.

Another reason Detroit is at the top of the East is because of Jalen Duren’s offensive breakout. The 22-year-old jumped from 11.8 points per game in 2024-25 to 20.3 points per game in 2025-26. Additionally, Duren is taking and making the most two-point attempts of his young career.
They’re not all easy dunks and layups. Duren has worked to improve his jumpshot and ball-handling skills. That’s paid off early in the 2025-26 season. The young center is also a defensive anchor for the Pistons.
Along with the top talent on their roster, the Pistons have plenty of depth. Tobias Harris and Jaden Ivey missed extended time early in the 2025-26 season. However, players like Dannis Jenkins, Paul Reed, Javonte Green, and Isaiah Stewart have made spot starts for Detroit.
Head coach J.B. Bickerstaff has a deep roster this season. One he hopes can make a run in the 2026 playoffs. Detroit has started the year strong with a 15-2 record. They’ll look to carry that momentum into December and beyond.
