Alex Pereira once again showcased his dominance in the octagon, securing a fourth-round knockout victory over Khalil Rountree at UFC 307. The light heavyweight showdown was a highlight of the PPV event, with Pereira’s precision striking and power on full display.
Rountree, known for his athleticism and knockout power, had a lot of success in the early going against Pereira and even was up on the scorecards. However, Pereira landed clean shots throughout the fight, gradually breaking down Rountree’s defense. In the fourth round, a well-placed right hand sent Rountree to the canvas, ending the fight and solidifying Pereira’s position as one of the best champions that the UFC has to offer.
