In the days after a Grand Slam, we tend to learn life news about top tennis players, and that is true for both Casper Ruud and Stefanos Tsitsipas who made recent announcements.
Casper Ruud
Three-time Grand Slam men’s singles finalist and 2025 US Open mixed doubles finalist (with partner Iga Swiatek), Casper Ruud, the current World No. 12, announced that he and his fiancee Maria Galligani are expecting their first child.
They announced that the team is expanding with a black and white photo of the couple and their dog. A baby girl will make her entrance sometime in 2026.

Ruud, 26, has won 13 career ATP titles.
Stefanos Tsitsipas
Greek tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas is unplugging from social media. Tsitsipas has not had a great year in tennis or his personal life. He had an on-again and off-again coaching relationship with his father. His relationship with Paula Badosa also ended.
Tsitsipas was recently spotted practicing with Daniil Medvedev, another player who has struggled in 2025.
Tennis is a tough sport especially when things are not going so well. Unplugging from social media to cut out some of the noise is a good idea.
🇬🇷❌ Stefanos Tsitsipas has decided to spend less time on social media, something he encourages younger people to also do:
“I release all the stress by going on social media and watching videos for hours, because I like them.

Hopefully Tsitsipas resurges in 2026. He is too good of a player to be World No. 27. The 27-year-old is a two-time Grand Slam finalist and winner of 12 career ATP titles including the 2019 ATP Finals.
