Krejcikova came off an extended injury hiatus to shock the world by winning Wimbledon 2024. This was her second singles Grand Slam. She turned 29 on December 18. She represents the older generation of female players with Coco Gauff and Iga Swiatek in their early 20s, Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina in their mid-20s. Jessica Pegula and Maria Sakkari are in her age group.
Will Krejcikova be able to win another Grand Slam in 2025? No one expected her to win Wimbledon so anything is possible.
