Fighters will wear traditional hockey gear, including jerseys and equipment, but with a twist: they will use four-ounce MMA gloves instead of traditional hockey gloves. The inaugural event, titled “Battle of the Borders,” is scheduled for June 14, 2025, at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. A second event is planned for June 28, 2025, at the River Cree Resort & Casino in Enoch, Alberta, Canada.
