Blake Snell Is Becoming Must-See-TV Off The Baseball Diamond

Blake Snell is becoming one of my favorite baseball personalities. I may be slow to the party, but I am an Orioles fan who has been wallowing in misery for the past few years. I got sucked into the 2025 MLB postseason partly because of the Dodgers and Snell.

However, the two-time Cy Young Award winner is proving to be equally charismatic off the baseball diamond as a member of the 2025 World Series Champion Dodgers.

My first laugh with Snell happened shortly after Game 7. Snell and Trevor Glasgow were celebrating. Thankfully, someone stuck a microphone in front of them as they were talking about being on the losing end of the 2020 World Series to the Dodgers as members of the Tampa Bay Rays. They joked that if you can’t beat them, join them.

Then, there was the cigar in the World Series trophy trick.

Blake Snell At The Championship Parade

Snell was doing the 6-7 meme to the crowd at the World Series parade.

He called the event and the experience, “lit as f%*k”.

Snell didn’t expect to speak at the rally, but fans were thrilled to hear from him. He dropped a quote from rapper NBA Youngboy.

However, the best interview may have come after the parade when he was asked about being a rapper. Snell explained that phase lasted one year in his teens, and he is going to focus on baseball.

Maybe everyone already knew that Blake Snell was a national treasure of jokes, quotes, and fun, but it is new to me. Perhaps winning the World Series takes the pressure off and allows him to show his true self. Either way, Dodgers and MLB fans like me are here for it.
