How Many Times Has The Caesars Superdome Held The Super Bowl?

The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will lock horns for Super Bowl LIX on Feb 9 in New Orleans – but just how many times have we seen a Caesars Superdome Super Bowl at the iconic venue?
NFL Fans Will See Caesars Superdome Super Bowl Number EIGHT In 2025
The Caesars Superdome opened in August 3, 1975 and since then this high-class NFL stadium has been one of the premier football venues and playing host to many great Super Bowl moments over the years.
In fact, no other US NFL stadium can claim to have staged more Super Bowls – as we’ve now seen a Caesars Superdome Super Bowl seven times in the past.
This figure will increase to EIGHT when the Louisiana venue opens its doors for Super Bowl LIX on February 9, when the Kansas City Chiefs will be looking to become the first team EVER to win three on the bounce and their fifth in total.
Taylor Swift No Stranger To Performing At The Caesars Superdome
In addition to the Caesars Superdome Super Bowl record haul of seven (soon to be eight), the venue also plays host to many other events through the year – one of which was Taylor Swift’s Eras tour in 2024.
Swift, who is the boyfriend of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, will of course be heading back to the Caesars Superdome in early February to cheer on her partner.
Hey, if Kansas win too – then maybe we’ll also see the New Orleans venue playing host to Travis Kelce proposing to Taylor Swift.
They would need to win first and with the best betting sites in the USA making Super Bowl LIX a tight clash – it’s a match that looks too tight to call.
The Caesars Superdome is also the home of NBA team the New Orleans Pelicans.
DID YOU KNOW? The Philadelphia Eagles lost in Super Bowl XV (1981) at the New Orleans Superdome
