Cam Fowler

Longtime Anaheim Ducks player Cam Fowler played his 1,000th career game at the 2025 NHL Winter Classic as a member of the St. Louis Blues.  Fowler scored two goals in the Blues 6-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks at Wrigley Field.

Fowler was traded from the Ducks to the Blues on December 14.  The 12th overall pick of the 2010 NHL Draft was the second-longest tenured player in Ducks history with 991 games.

The Blues are scary good since hiring ex-Boston Bruins coach Jim Montgomery in November and adding Fowler earlier this month.

The Blackhawks were never in this game.  The Blues are undefeated in Winter Classic games while the Blackhawks remain winless.

In about a month, the NHL will announce the location and teams for the 2026 Winter Classic on December 31, 2025.  In the meantime, the Blues and Cam Fowler have the bragging rights.  The team enjoyed Bud Light canned beers in the locker room to celebrate the win and the New Year.
