At 3-13, the Cardinals are one of four teams with a 3-13 record entering Week 18. That includes the Giants, Jets, and Titans. Arizona has lost eight consecutive games.Â
It has been a disappointing season for the Cardinals in 2025 for several reasons. One is the regression of WR Marvin Harrison Jr. His sophomore campaign was plagued by injuries. On top of that, Harrison did not perform at this best when active in year two. Due to injury, he played just 33% of the team’s offensive snaps in Week 17. Head coach Jonanthan Gannon announced Marvin Harrison Jr. will not play in Week 18. His season is officially over.

While it was a down year for Marvin Harrison Jr., third-year pro Michael Wilson had a breakout campaign. He was targeted a career-high 71 times in 2024. During 2025, Michael Wilson was targeted 117 times and had a career-high 73 catches for 907 yards and six receiving touchdowns. With 93 yards in Week 18, Michael Wilson could become the first Cardinals WR since Larry Fitzgerald to have 1,000 yards in a season.
With the Cardinals likely set to finish the year 3-14 and have nine straight losses, head coach Jonathan Gannon is on the hot seat. Additionally, media members believe the Cardinals are ready to part ways with QB Kyler Murray. Arizona could be headed toward a full reset on offense for 2026. Marvin Harrison Jr. will be the team’s centerpiece on offense if he can take that next step forward.
