Chase Briscoe

It’s been quite the lucrative NASCAR Cup Series offseason for Chase Briscoe.

Although Briscoe — who enters 2026 as a second-year Joe Gibbs Racing driver after four years at now-defunct Stewart-Haas Racing — might not be personally collecting any of the new funds, the sponsorship dollars just keep rolling in for his No. 19 Toyota.

With Briscoe already set to carry primary sponsorship from Bass Pro Shops and Columbia Bank for select races in 2026, two other primary sponsors have come aboard in just the last few days.

That means no shortage of financial backing for the efforts of Briscoe, who enjoyed a career season in his first year with JGR. On top of recording a Cup Series-high seven poles, Briscoe earned a career-high three wins. He also made the Championship 4 for the first time, finishing a career-best third in the standings.

Chase Briscoe Will Be Like A ‘Free Bird’ This Season

Joe Gibbs Racing announced January 14 that the organization has signed a multi-year agreement with Free Bird Southern Spring Water. In this arrangement, Free Bird will be the primary sponsor for Chase Briscoe in three NASCAR Cup Series races in 2026.

The first will be at Darlington Raceway on March 22. Next up for Free Bird is EchoPark Speedway on July 12. The brand will return again as Briscoe’s primary sponsor at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL on October 11.

“Partnering with Joe Gibbs Racing is a huge milestone for Free Bird,” Free Bird founder Jay Williams said in a JGR team release. “As a young brand, aligning with an organization that sets the standard in NASCAR is incredibly meaningful to us. And we’re proud to be part of a team that shows up prepared and performs when it matters most.”

The Briscoe/Free Bird partnership expands on a personal services agreement the driver established with the sponsor in October 2025. Free Bird now plans to utilize localized fan experiences and retail promotions designed to strengthen the connection between itself, JGR and race fans around the country.

“The partnership between JGR and Free Bird is an exciting one,” Briscoe said in a JGR team release. “From the beginning, Free Bird was a natural fit for me. They are an all-American brand that has a lot of the same values that I do. So, I am looking forward to having them on the car for three races this year.”

Briscoe is a two-time winner at Darlington, the only track where he’s posted multiple Cup Series victories.

“Darlington, Atlanta, and Charlotte are all tracks where the brand fits perfectly,” he said. “And I think race fans attending will enjoy seeing their cool branding around the track.”

Chase Briscoe Sharing New Primary Sponsor, Zep, With Ty Gibbs

Just five days after the Chase Briscoe/Free Bird announcement, JGR revealed Monday that another new primary sponsor is joining forces with Briscoe in 2026.

That sponsor is Zep Inc., which specializes in maintenance, cleaning and sanitation solutions for industrial and institutional, retail, and food and beverage companies.

Zep will adorn Briscoe’s No. 19 car at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on August 23. Prior to this, Zep will ride with Briscoe’s JGR teammate Ty Gibbs as primary sponsor at Kansas Speedway in April.

In addition, Zep will — at minimum — be an associate sponsor for Briscoe, Gibbs and fellow JGR driver Christopher Bell the entire season.

Zep is no stranger to Briscoe, having been the Indiana native’s primary sponsor for two races in 2024 at Stewart-Haas Racing. Briscoe left SHR after that season, joining JGR, when the Tony Stewart co-owned organization shut its doors.

“It is great to be reunited with Zep over at JGR,” Briscoe said in a JGR team release. “I have a great relationship with those guys. And they have always been supportive of my career. So, I’m excited to have them on the car this year.”

The feeling is mutual.

“Zep is excited and grateful to be partnering with JGR this coming season,” Greg Heyer, Executive Vice President of Retail Sales and Marketing, said in a team release. “We both have a legacy of winning products that perform, and a focus on customer satisfaction and innovation.

“We know that this JGR partnership will further our growth strategy focused on brand awareness, product adoption, and building a stronger, loyal customer base in all areas that we provide cleaning solutions.”
