CoinPoker has confirmed that Sunday CoinMillion will become a monthly fixture in its tournament lobby. The move follows two editions that drew a combined 9,062 entries.
Each CoinMillion carries a $215 buy-in and a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. Payouts are top-heavy, rewarding the top finishers more than a standard structure. The champion also receives a physical trophy, a permanent digital trophy, and a place in the CoinMillion Hall of Champions.
CoinMillion Prize Pool Set For August 9th Return
The next CoinMillion runs on August 9th. From there, it settles into a fixed monthly slot on the first Sunday of every month. September 6th and October 4th are already confirmed.
Play starts at 16:30 UTC. The tournament spans two days, with Day 2 trimming the field down to a seven-player final table. Players begin with 100,000 chips, equal to 200 big blinds, and work through 10-minute blind levels. Late registration stays open until Level 19.
Monc And DaniC1994 Lead Early CoinMillion Winners
The first CoinMillion ran during the World Poker Masters on May 10th. DaniC1994 won that title for $126,500 from 4,278 entries.
The second edition landed during Battle of Malta Online on July 12th. A bigger field of 4,784 entries turned out, and Monc took it down for $121,500 after building an early chip lead and holding it to the end.
Three-handed, JhonnieTsunami tried to strike a deal rather than “flip for $70k.” The offer was turned down, and JhonnieTsunami was eliminated soon after on a lost flip with pocket tens.
Across both editions, CoinMillion has paid out $248,000 combined to its two champions.
Satellite Routes Give Players A Cheap Path To CoinMillion
Direct satellites into the $215 CoinMillion run from $5.50 up to $44. That means a seat can cost almost 40 times less than the full buy-in for players who qualify through the cheapest route.
Players short on bankroll can also start from Step 3 and Step 4 freerolls, working up through the satellite ladder for free. These run multiple times daily in the lead-up to each CoinMillion. All routes appear by searching “CoinMillion” in the CoinPoker lobby.
CoinPoker Builds Out Its Tournament Calendar
CoinPoker drew over 22,000 players to the platform on July 26th alone. The site also runs CoinRewards, handing out more than $7,000,000 in monthly rewards through CoinRaces, Splash Pots, and ongoing missions across cash games and tournaments.
