The first College Football Playoff Rankings have been revealed. Which teams are in the top 12? View the committee’s first rankings below.

College Football Playoff Rankings: First Bracket

No surprise at the top, as undefeated Oregon sits at the top of the rankings.

Behind the Ducks are the Ohio State Buckeyes, Georgia Bulldogs, Miami Hurricanes, and Texas Longhorns.

Remember: the first four seeds must be conference champions. Therefore, Oregon (Big Ten), Georgia (SEC), Miami (ACC), and BYU (Big 12) would be the top four seeds and receive first-round byes.

First Round:

  • No. 11 Alabama vs. No. 6 Texas
  • No. 10 Notre Dame vs. No. 7 Penn State

The first four teams out of the College Football Playoff: No. 13 SMU, No. 14 Texas A&M, No. 15 LSU, and No. 16 Ole Miss.

LSU can move into the top 12 this weekend with a win over No. 11 Alabama. Ole Miss can also improve its resume with a win over Georgia on Saturday afternoon.

Four more rankings will be revealed before the official selection show on Dec. 8.
